“A picture is worth ten thousand words” (F. R. Barnard, 1927)
Most statistical modeling approaching were developed to understand why variables are associated. Visualization of statistical associations can facilitate the understanding of various statistical modeling methods more clearly and effectively. This seminar will illustrate how covariances and correlations can be visualized through geometrical representation. Visualization of regression model and factor analysis will also be discussed.
